Jan Golash is the owner and head trainer of The Crossroads Equestrian Center, which she incorporated in 1992. Jan is hands-on in the day to day operation of The Crossroads. Everything from the quality of the hay and grain to the condition of the footing in the arena is of the utmost importance. Care of both horses and clients is her top concern.
Jan started riding at an early age and successfully competed on the Capitol District Circuit in Albany. She has been teaching, coaching and training riders for more than 35 years and is proficient in all disciplines while specializing in Hunter/Jumpers and Equitation.
Jan has trained horses and riders to the highest levels of competition and is accredited with numerous championships. She has brought students from their first Short Stirrup class to the Jr. Amateur High Jumpers. Her students have competed at the National level and qualified for the American Young Riders Team. It is Jan's attention to detail and her strong foundation in the basics that sets her riders apart in the show ring.
Jan’s students show extensively at local schooling shows and recognized “A” shows throughout the Northeast. She provides training on show horses or will customize an individual training program for you and your horse.
